The Alpen View is a magnificent mountain retreat that provides comfort and convenience for your next adventure in the Baker mountains. With both indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, it can accommodate up to six guests with two queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the reading room. A front deck with stunning views of Mt. Shuksan and a spacious great room designed for cozy gatherings make this cabin a perfect place to relax. Additionally, the indoor Swedish sauna, new hot tub, and gazebo are a treat for every guest. The upper floor features vaulted pine ceilings, allowing for a charming atmosphere. All amenities in the Snowline Community are easily accessible for guests’ convenience.
As you approach the gorgeous custom log home, you’ll be captivated by its beauty. Inside the great room, you’ll find a comfortable sectional sofa, a spacious table, and a kitchen equipped with new stainless steel appliances. Although there isn’t a dishwasher in the kitchen, it does come with a large peninsula and four counter stools. The front porch of the log house has plenty of outdoor living space, including a sunny deck. Any group’s chef will have all the necessary tools and gadgets to cook up a storm. The second-floor 1/2 bath also houses a washer and dryer, perfect for storing your ski gear from the cold. Outside, children can enjoy a barbecue on the deck while playing in the woods or climbing over boulders. A quiet reading/TV area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa is hidden behind the log staircase.
The upper level is accessible via a large log staircase, and it offers a comfortable family space for movie watching, games, and more. There’s a large sectional sofa and two plush swivel seats, and a door leading to the upper deck with stunning views of the mountains. Two queen-sized bedrooms are available for guests to enjoy a good night’s sleep. This level also has a 3/4 bath and a sauna to soothe sore muscles after a long day on the mountain. For safety reasons, the cabin does not allow children under the age of 5.
Snowline is a gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Ski Area. Guests can enjoy outdoor heated swimming pools during the summer, a clubhouse, and trails leading to the Nooksack River. There are also tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, as well as a playground for children. The playfield is perfect for playing games like kickball or frisbee. The clubhouse is open daily and includes a ping pong table, air hockey tables, a lending library, and free WIFI. Children can fish in the trout pond, and there are many trails throughout the community.
