It seems clear that Messi’s main goal now is to compete in the 2018 World Cup in Russia and bring home the victory for Argentina. At 29 years old, it’s no surprise that the player considered one of the best in the world would return to play for his country, especially since he already holds the record for most goals scored for Argentina.
