Introducing Pumpkin, a soon-to-be mother pup who was rescued from living on the streets. Unfortunately, she found herself in another scary situation when she became trapped under a shed at the Hawkins County Humane Society. Despite being pregnant, Pumpkin managed to crawl underneath the narrow space beneath the storage house and got stuck. The shelter staff discovered her predicament when she refused to come out for treats. They attempted to free her with a gentle tug, but it was unsuccessful due to her pregnancy. After enlisting the help of Joey Arnold, the shelter’s handyman, they were able to successfully use a jack to free Pumpkin without any injuries. Grateful for their help, Pumpkin is now in search of a loving home to raise her puppies safely. The shelter staff is committed to ensuring that Pumpkin and her puppies are well-cared for until they find their forever home.
The pup found itself trapped below a shed, but it was able to wiggle its way through the tight gap underneath.
Luckily, with the help of the shelter’s skilled handyman and his trusty jack, Pumpkin was successfully liberated from his entrapment.
The woman expressed her deep gratitude, and as it turned out, her belly was carrying a litter of rescued puppies.
