Kona and Oscar were discovered loitering on the roadside and at last, they found what they had been yearning for – a caring family.
Two little puppy siblings sat together on the sidewalk of a bustling street in Palmdale, a city in Los Angeles County, California. They looked like they were waiting for someone to notice them and offer help. These puppies were likely homeless and had to deal with the cold weather as well as the danger of being hit by cars.
As the little puppies wandered towards the street, a woman spotted them and rushed to rescue them from harm’s way. She quickly contacted MaeDay Rescue for assistance, and help was on its way to save these helpless canines. The starving pups were grateful for their rescuers’ help and obediently hopped into the back seat of a car, eager to begin their journey to safety and recovery.
According to a spokesperson from MaeDay Rescue, the two puppies were submissive and easy to rescue. They seemed frightened but knew they would be safe in the car. These puppies, later named Kona and Oscar, were able to relax once they were out of danger and started to show their unique personalities. The spokesperson described Kona as calm and affectionate while Oscar was full of energy and mischief. Both puppies, however, were intelligent and wonderful in their own way.
The puppies recovered quickly from their ordeal and resumed their lively behavior, making them excellent candidates for adoption. They just required the ideal family to call their own. Kona was the initial one to find a forever home. The rescue service shared on Instagram, “This sweet girl will never have to go through abandonment again. Her new family adores her and has showered her with love!”
Shortly after, Oscar discovered his perfect home. According to MaeDay Rescue’s latest Instagram post, “He adores his new family and is absolutely smitten with his older brother.” It’s the ideal home for him, and we’re delighted to have played a role in his wonderful outcome, “she added.
Despite their difficult start, it’s clear that these siblings will never have to fend for themselves again. They went from enduring the harsh realities of homelessness to enjoying the comforts of a safe and warm home with certainty. Check out the rescue video if you’d like!
