A Pomeranian pooch who had been ditched due to his size became an Instagram sensation.

A particular incident involved a Pomeranian dog who was only five months old and was left behind by his breeder due to being deemed “too big to be sold”. The helpless creature was then put up for adoption on Petfinder.com, where he caught the attention of Kathy Grayson, a museum curator. What caught her eye were the pup’s beautiful eyes, and she knew she had to have him. So, she made her way to Tulsa and drove to the town where the Pomeranian was located. It was a heartwarming experience picking him up, and the shelter staff was sad to see him go since he had received extra love and affection from them.
Kathy gave the name Bertie to her beloved pet, who has now gained immense popularity on Instagram with a whopping 93 thousand followers. He has captured everyone’s hearts with his charming face and exudes positivity wherever he goes. Not only that, Bertie is also an art enthusiast and can be found spending time at Kathy’s art gallery. Kathy expresses her love for Bertie saying that he spreads happiness and brings joy to people’s lives, especially in times when social media is filled with negativity. According to her, cute animals like Bertie serve as an antidote to all the unpleasantness in the world.
Kathy mentioned that her art gallery’s Instagram page was being taken over by Bert, so she decided to create a separate account for him. She shared how people kept asking to see pictures of Bert instead of the artwork. Kathy found it amusing when visitors came to the gallery specifically to meet Bert or brought their dogs to see him.
