Scarlett Johansson’s Intense Training and Vegan Diet for Maintaining Her Figure

In addition to intense training, the Black Widow also strictly adheres to a scientific diet to maintain both physical stamina and an alluring figure. During the filming of The Avengers, Scarlett primarily followed a vegetarian diet. Many plant-based foods like beans, quinoa, and almonds contain high amounts of protein, which help develop and maintain muscle mass. Before filming Ghost in the Shell, the actress applied the Eat Clean principle, which involves consuming whole, minimally processed foods to maximize nutrient absorption.

One of Scarlett’s favorite foods used to be cheese, but she admits that she has been avoiding it for a while now and only smells it because she knows it’s not good for her waistline. The Marvel superhero is also very strict with herself and claims that during times of weight loss and training, she won’t “reward” herself with unhealthy indulgences.
